方帆，英国南安普顿大学哲学博士（现代语言与应用语言学方向），现为汕头大学副教授（应用语言学），硕士研究生导师。研究方向为社会语言学、应用语言学、英语教学，语言态度与身份认同、跨文化交际、教师发展等。在国内外学术期刊，包括Asia Pacific Journal of Education、ELT Journal、English Today、Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development、Language, Culture and Curriculum、Language and Education、Language Teaching Research、Lingua、RELC Journal、System等发表论文40余篇，其中SSCI收录期刊研究性论文23篇（不包括书评），出版专著一本（Routledge出版社），编著一本（Multilingual Matters出版社）。主持教育部人文社科研究一般项目（青年基金项目）与多项省厅级、校级科研项目，省级校级教改项目，并参与英国文化教育协会项目及教育部人文社会科学项目、教育部人文社科项目、教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大项目等。
Fan Fang obtained
his PhD from the Centre for Global Englishes, University of
Southampton, UK. He is currently Associate Professor at the Department
of Foreign Languages and Literature, College of Liberal Arts, Shantou
University, China. He has published articles in journals including Asia Pacific Journal of Education, ELT Journal, English Today, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Language, Culture and Curriculum, Language and Education, Language Teaching Research, Lingua, RELC Journal, System, among others. His latest books include a monograph titled Re-positioning accent attitude in the Global Englishes paradigm (Routledge) and an edited volume (co-edited with Dr Handoyo Widodo) titled Critical Perspectives on Global Englishes in Asia: Language Policy, Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment (Multilingual Matters).
